Trekking Sticks....


 There they are: our brand new trekking sticks. They really make a difference when hiking.

Maim advantages:

1- While climbing, they support pushing you up the hill and give you a bit of extra balance.

2- While going down a hill, they help you to maintain your balance and avoiding unexpected sliding. They also support part of the weight that otherwise would be on your knees and ankles joints.

3- While walking on plain terrain, they help you keeping the cadence and, above all, avoiding too much blood tension in your hand fingers veins, reducing swallowing.

Like everything in life, they come with some inconvenients:

1- Extra weight to carry... 460g in total.

2- Not appropriate to use on roads, only good for off road tracks and gravel.

3- You might feel some muscles crying out loud during the times you use them, simply because you are making use of them, while walking, for the first time.... yes, you’ll get used to it rapidly and the pain will vanish.

An extra hint: Adjust properly the handle stripe and you’ll have it like an extension of your arm, just by making pressure in every balancing movement with the inner muscle of your hand.
